Madness - Chalk Farm Tube Station
This Edwardian tube station was opened on the 22nd of June 1907 by the Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead railway. It was designed by Leslie Green main features being a steel frame clad in shiny red tiles. Restoration work was finished on the station in 2005. The station is on the Edgeware branch of the Northern line between stations Belsize park and Camden town.

In 1980 Madness had themselves photographed in front of the station for new album "Absolutely", saxophonist Lee "Kix" Thompson at the front sporting sporting "baggy trousers", which was also the title of one of the singles released from the album. Madness used to hang around nearby Camden throughout their career and the photo shoot was intended to have taken place at Camden Town station, which was too crowded at that time and so nearby Chalk Farm was used instead.
