The Beatles - 20 Forthlin Road

Forthlin Road is a street in the city of Liverpool in the United Kingdom.

The road is famous for the address 20 Forthlin Road which is where Paul McCartney and his younger brother Michael McCartney (also known as Mike McGear) lived with their family during their childhood years. The Beatles composed and rehearsed some of their earliest songs in this house.

Since 1995 the house is owned by the National Trust who organises tours of the house. It is authentically furnished as it would have appeared during the 1950s and early 60s when Paul and his family lived there, it also includes a display of family photographs taken by Michael McCartney.
